What Guests Are Saying
Ives Run is a beautiful and well-maintained campground with spacious sites, friendly staff, and a scenic location near Hammond Lake. Many visitors appreciate the cleanliness of the facilities, the peaceful atmosphere, and the variety of outdoor activities available, such as fishing, hiking, and biking. Some minor issues were noted, including inconveniences with sewer hookups and limited availability for late-season bookings, but overall, campers had a great experience and expressed a strong desire to return.

Now days that cleanliness is more important than ever before, Recreation.gov needs to come up with an acceptable program for cleaning the restrooms at their campgrounds. They were a mess for our entire stay. There are many other complaints about this matter. Please give this request some serious thought. Thanks!

The first thing that happened when we parked at our site was I stepped in dog poop while setting up a screen tent. After that my husband and I got the doggie bags (located very close to our site) and picked up several dog piles at our site.
It would be nice if when the occupant checks out, the follow up inspection included more than a check of the firepit.
It was a smelly and unpleasant beginning for us.

Camp site was wonderful. Power went out but was addressed within the hour. Bathrooms were disgusting and decaying, I wouldn’t plan on using them at all
