It was not a place we’d stay again. I picked up at least 50 nails at our site. One managed to damage our truck tire. I wish the table had a cover. Our toddlers enjoyed the playground, but it was rather small and will be outgrown by them soon. Our campsite was also right next to the highway and it was fairly loud.

I drove from Big Bend National Park to Midway. I saw they had pull through so I got it since it was dark. In the morning saw what a beautiful little campground it is on the lake!!

Had spot 5 in Midway. It was supposed to have 30 amp and 50 amp service but it was just 30. Need to let people know that. It was not a problem for use I have adapter for 50 to 30. Spot was clean.

Just an overnight stay but site was easy to get in and out of. Host was very nice on check in. Highway noise was not bad after rush hour.

We were in site 6. Site 7 and 8 backed right up to our table and fire pit. So we had people on top of us. Also the site was very uneven and we had to work hard at ramping up one side of the trailer to get it level.

From I-35, take the exit for Hwy 6 N toward Meridian (330B) for about 5 miles. Immediately before crossing the lake, exit right at Midway Park Exit. At the exit, drive under the bridge and the park is a quarter-mile down the east-bound service road.
