Park is quiet and beautiful. Clean bathrooms; nice little playground for young children; lovely views. The roofs over the picnic tables need a little work, but the last 3 years have seen terrible weather (floods and freezes) in the winter, so that is understandable. Lovely, small park actually inside the city of Waco.

The campsite was great. Nice and clean. However, the grass all around was super tall with chiggers and poison ivy is all over the areas leading to the water.

Ladies at the check in booth very friendly and helpful. After 3 day period, my wife got sick and they were helpful securing another site for an additional 2 nights.

quiet, hwy. 6 road noise is increasing year by year. full hook ups first row by hwy are very noisy.

From I-35, take the exit for Hwy 6 N toward Meridian (330B) for about 5 miles. Immediately before crossing the lake, exit right at Midway Park Exit. At the exit, drive under the bridge and the park is a quarter-mile down the east-bound service road.
