Stayed for 9 days. Site was clean. Park was quiet. Lots of deer running around all over the place. Cell service was excellent. Very hot but was in the last half of July. View of the lake was pretty. Very affordable and located close enough to the city but far enough away to be somewhat secluded. The reason for the 3 star rating was due to the roads leading into the campground are horrible. The worst thing was the 10 O'clock curfew. The gate closes at 10:00 P.M. and if you don't get back by then you can either park outside and walk to your campsite or just lose a night. That's actually rather ridiculous. A few tax dollars for an electronic keypad gate would be simple. A little more to fix the roads would get this 5 stars from this camper. Wifi would be nice but not a show stopper like the curfew could be.

Wonderful campground. Even though it was hot I was able to swim in the lake not too far from our spot.
The dump station is terrible. The hole is on a concrete platform that makes my stinky slinky a p trap and it was difficult emptying the tanks unless I would keep lifting the hose. Poor design. I’d pay to dump somewhere just to have a better experience dumping.

Speegleville is a nice area with lots of lake view slots. Lacks shade in many of the spots and the restroom/showers leave something to be desired. They need renovation for sure - not as nice as others at core lakes. Experience overall was good.

The park was beautiful and the RV sites clean with plenty room.
The only thing bad was on our way out we stopped at the restrooms. They were Filthy And disgusting.
