The park is simply beautiful and well maintained. The sites are deep and spacious with coverings. We were in the shade almost the entire day. Also the park is close to shopping and eateries if you need last minute items or meals or want to visit Waco. We would recommend the park to anyone and we plan to return and stay longer our next visit.

Very nice COE campground. Bathhouse could use some work. About 30 sites on the edge of Waco Lake.

The lady who checked me in was very helpful and nice. The size of the site was huge with lots of space between sites. My first time there on my way to Texas would stay again. The only suggestion I have is there is no signage stating a phone# to call or where to check in when arriving at the gate?

Due to the freezing weather, we were unable to enjoy much of the park. Our lab would have loved to spend more time outside and in the lake. On our 3rd day there, the water spigot at our sight froze solid so we had no water therefore we packed up and left early. We really appreciate the refund for one night without having to request it. We will return to the park again during better weather.

Love the sites. They were clean and most had canopies. Bathrooms were clean and heated. Views were fantastic. Staff was pleasant and informative. The wildlife (Armadillo and deer herds) were incredible to see and a real treat.
