This is the worst COE park we've been too. The showers are disgusting. No knock on the staff, they are doing a good job but management is simply not looking at the deplorable conditions of the showers and roads.

The campsites are very well maintained. We loved the large spots and quietness of the park. It was great watching the deer at dusk and dawn. Looking forward to coming back.

Clean and quite park, great views of the lake. Showers and restrooms need updating, spider infested and a bit sketchy, didn’t use them.

I stayed at site 4 and had a million dollar view. Watching the sun rise was incredible. It even included deer in my campsite. I was impressed that the gravel around the picnic table had been so neatly raked. It gave it a zen feel. I had a nice bike over to the boat ramp and marina area. Saw an armadillo up close and personal who was wandering through the campsites during the day. Thought I’d freak but it was small and weirdly cute. I enjoyed my visit very much.

From I-35, take exit 330B Hwy 6 N toward Meridian for about 6 miles. After passing over the Lake on the Twin Bridges, take the first exit toward Lake Waco/Speegleville Park. Take a left on the access road. You will continue past the Twin Bridges Park about a quarter of a mile until you reach Overflow Road. Turn right on Overflow Road and drive for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance on the left.

Camping equipment is limited to one RV/Trailer and up to two tents per site or a total of three tents. |
