We’ve been on the road full time for about 6 months, and Speegleville was one of our favorite campgrounds. Quiet, spacious campsites, lakefront or lake views at each site, clean & comfortable. And the staff is too-notch (special shout-out to Tom). Highly recommended!

Beautiful lake view not far from our screen shelter. The bathrooms are ok. The showers need to be updated, as well as the electricity in the shelter. The shelter needed new screens. The staff is very helpful. Wouldn’t mind returning at another time.

Great park location and the camping spaces are nice & level, the picnic shelters are a bonus! THE BATHROOM/SHOWERS ARE HORRIBLE...only one shower door actually locks and the rooms are dirty...sad!

Beautiful Campground, lots of space, well maintained, large clean sites, nice lake shore. Lots of deer and armadillos were seen. Spent Christmas here with many other campers. no disturbance) Dark at night, lots of stars. Quiet. Had 50 amps, water and dump station on our way out. There are restrooms and showers. The showers could use an upgrade but are usable.

From I-35, take exit 330B Hwy 6 N toward Meridian for about 6 miles. After passing over the Lake on the Twin Bridges, take the first exit toward Lake Waco/Speegleville Park. Take a left on the access road. You will continue past the Twin Bridges Park about a quarter of a mile until you reach Overflow Road. Turn right on Overflow Road and drive for about 1.5 miles until you reach the entrance on the left.

Camping equipment is limited to one RV/Trailer and up to two tents per site or a total of three tents. |
