I had amazing time at the Canyonlands National Park Needles District Campground for eight days and nights. I Trail ran all over the place, and also got to know some of the Rangers there in particular Lee, was most knowledgeable and so nice. I learned so much about Canyonlands I didn’t know in particular about ancient rock art or rock markings. They’re all over the place. Keep your eyes open!!!

Quiet, peaceful, and well managed small campground in a stunning location. Sunsets from atop the campground slickrock were spectacular.

Loop B sites provide more shade than walk-in loop. Hike and bike.

I really don't want to say that these are some of the best campgrounds in Utah parks, because others will flock to them, but a really great experience. Clean, spacious, and perfect for access to all the great trails in the park!!

Campsite was lovely. Quiet, private. Many nearby hikes through spectacular scenery. My one question is why are there so few campsites in the Needles area? If there were more, more people could enjoy the park and reservations would not be so difficult to make.

Huge campsite under the shelter of a giant rock. Beautiful scenery. Super quiet. It's very spread out, so the bathroom was a bit of a walk - could use one more pit toilet or porta-potty.

We had site 26, which was a very nice spot. Only drawback is that it is immediately adjacent to 25B, with literally no privacy between sites. The Park Service needs to either eliminate 25 B or better delineate the sites. WiFi at the Visitor Center worked well.
