The camp host was very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. He was able to recommend best things to do near the area. He also wrote our name in the camp post indicating that it was reserved for us.

This is a very special place. We were here in late October 2020, and woke to the first good snowfall. Hiking and views in every direction are stunning, campground was peaceful, and the Visitor Center well stocked with goodies. Loved it so much we are heading back in the spring.

It was 103 the week before we came but we had wonderful weather. Hikes are always great here and most from the camp site. Rangers were helpful with new trail ideas. Campsite was spacious and seeing sunset from the rocks above was a delight.

Great campground. Small and quiet. Most of the campsites are decently spaced out but a few are near each other so check the map. Restrooms were top notch and super clean. They provide outdoor sinks and recycling. All very clean and great facilities. The area is stunning and we could have spent a week there exploring.
