The thing we liked the most was their
“first come, first serve” program. It is difficult to acquire campsites in Mt. Rainier NP, but we got one for our first night in the park and then the next morning my husband stood in line and was able to secure sites for the rest of our time in the park. Since we had a class B camper, dispersed camping was not a good option for us. We also loved the fact that this campground was very clean and very quiet!

Fantastic campground! Lots of space, bear boxes are great, being INSIDE the park is mega helpful. There are some spots that are right by the dumpsters - if you can, I would try to avoid those.

Hotels in this area are ludicrously overpriced. The campground is a wonderful alternative. Clean bathrooms and water are available. Unfortunately, no showers.

No soap or hand dryer in bathroom in E-loop.
A lot of cut-down tree debris, making campsites hazardous, crowded, and unattractive. No old growth and not much shade.
Otherwise, Mt Tahoma is majestic!!

The site fit a large tent and the pad was easy to clear of pine cones. The pad was flat and level making for a comfortable night. We really enjoyed the rangers presentation in the amphitheater.

Clean, relaxing campground that stays peaceful even with the park is at max capacity. If you want some Rainier views go across the road to the day use area.

Arrived on a weekday with a 30 ft RV around 10am. The nice rangers found a place easily for us. It was a great place for joining the wonderland trail. The bathrooms were clean. Didn’t see enough stars at night, but that was the cloud’s fault. Super recommended!

What a beautiful campground! We had a great stay and were thankful to be in the park to make the drive a little shorter up to Paradise. They also had a great rangers presentation in the amphitheater 😊
