Nice campground. Big area for tents. Clean facilities. You are near the road to the group campground but I didn’t find this disruptive at all as very few cars went down it. Loop E in general was quiet and enjoyable.

The campground was great. The ranger registering me was friendly and efficient, The campsite was great. The bathrooms were clean and worked well. I enjoyed a walk around the site. It was beautiful with large trees and forest.

Basically, a well functioning campground. Facilities were in place and operating well, personnel coped well with the pressure of many visitors, and we got in, slept, used the toilets, and got out without mishap. The only downsides were relative: other campsites at MRNP had majestic trees, and a beautiful river (missing at cougar falls, AND, many of the campsites were closed due to 'tree hazards'. Maybe this is a short-term problem. I hope so. But it's strange that in the high season, so many sites aren't being used because a team with chainsaws aren't able to fix dead branches.

What a great campsite! Quiet and calm, large and private sites for tent camping, nice bathrooms, easy access to the park. Would return!

Bare bones camp sites. Our site was spacious and quiet, but with a lot of dry debris and clean up needed, we were not comfortable having a campfire, and don’t understand why they are even allowed. Nice access to Longmire and Paradise. Was able to reserve a site in advance so was nice knowing we had a place to stay for the night and didn’t have to hurry for a first come first serve site.

The tent pad was very uneven that our sleeping pad was continuously sliding in one direction. This is our second time camping at Couger rock campground. The toilets were not cleaned compared to our first visit

Great camping location inside the park. Multiple waterfalls and lakes nearby, both driving and hiking. Just 2 miles to Longmire (ranger station, simple grocery items, small restaurant) and access to the Wonderland Trail is just .1 miles away.

This campground is not for the rest.
We stayed here before climbing Rainier. We spent around 9 nights there. Place B10 is terrible:
1) it has garbage right on the place, people are terrible they make noise with recycling waste all night. Every single person thinks it’s great idea to throw the trash right before they go to restrooms before night. But we tried to sleep during these times.
2) noise from men’s restroom, I don’t know why this is so hard to close the door
3) lights from the restroom
4) the food box at terrible place, it has sun all day long.
5) the place for tent has crazy angle, same as table
6) some of the people staying there just don’t know what camping is. They very loud, like I said after at late night they going to garbage with all their empty beer cans, they slam doors whole night at their cars. So bad
I don’t really understand why they need so many garbage bins at the campground around sites. Why just not have them at the exit
Also people trying to get at their homes to loop B, is it not supposed to be just tent loop?
This campground need the better host to keep quiet hours quite and better rules maybe mention that it’s not necessary to slam doors at 2 am like every 2 seconds for 15 minutes and trash. No trash at quiet hours

Our trip to Mt. Rainier National Park was exceptional! Our family enjoyed hiking and exploring, and the campground was an excellent way to unwind after a day of adventure. We will return!
