The campsite was small, and close to other sites around it leaving little space for privacy. But the site and campground was clean and well maintained. Restrooms were also clean and well maintained. Trails nearby were excellent.

The campground was very clean, and quiet at night, no biting insects to be seen. I appreciate that even though the campground was quite full, I didn't have to hear any generators or music. It seems like every site around me had a bear box, which was very convenient. It was plenty of space to store my food box, water, and cooler. My tent pad was clean and level, very easy and comfortable. The bathrooms are in good condition. Easy access to walking trails.

We arrived Saturday morning at 9am (9am timed entry) on Labor Day Weekend with little hope that there would be a first-come spot available. We went right to the campground and got the second to last spot available! So lucky! They took credit card payment - $20. Just a heads up - spot A26 is lovely but the light from the bathroom across from it was glaring into our campsite all night (doesn't go off). We parked a car sideways in our site to block out most of the light, but it wasn't ideal. Still, the stars were INCREDIBLE. I can't wait to go back next year - will be trying to reserve ahead this time.
