Excellent campsite. We had a great time there. The only downside I need to say - and please consider it - was the toilet situation! That was horrible.
No toilet paper. Only two sinks and one of them was not working at all and they were very dirty. Please, do something about it.

Cougar Rock campground was a great place to stay on our trip to Mount Rainer. The drive to the campground is spectacular. The restrooms were relatively clean, but you could tell their age. The sites are pretty close to each other. I would recommend ear plugs if you are a light sleeper; young kids with us up early in the morning. The proximity of this campground to popular hikes makes choosing this site a no brainer. Overall, this is a great campground and I would recommend it.

Staff at check in were very friendly and polite. Also helpful in directing us to a near by trail head .
The bathroom is very old and not ADA compliant. The toilet stalls are not big enough for someone to access in a wheelchair!!

Cougar Rock campground was a pleasant little surprise! We loved the trees and our spot was absolutely perfect. It had a lot of room and was A pull through site. A short walk to the bathrooms.
My kids and I woke up early one morning and made the short drive to Paradise to hike the skyline trail at sunrise. This was one of the highlights of our whole trip!

The staff were very friendly, especially my young man with the last name Hahn. We came in on first come first serve and got a good spot. There were a variety of campers and trailer sizes all around us. Relatively clean bathroom. The dish room was super handy. The water pump was great.
