What Guests Are Saying
Lower Falls Campground features spacious, well-maintained campsites with ample shade and beautiful riverside views, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. The breathtaking nearby waterfalls and numerous hiking trails enhance the camping experience, although the campground lacks adequate water stations and has issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, helpful camp hosts, and the opportunity to disconnect from technology in a picturesque setting.

One of our friends took a nasty fall, and camp manager Tim helped us out! A fantastic guy, in one of my favorite places on earth.

Beautiful park with the river and falls. Only one water source in upper loop that I was not aware of until I left.

Location is beautiful, isolated, and quiet. Roads to the site needed a lot of maintenance, but the trails led to amazing scenery.

Camp host nonexistent. There was an "off duty" sign on the camp host site our entire 3 day stay. Bathrooms were eye watering smelly and full of flies.if you aren't going to maintain the campground you shouldn't be charging for it's use. It's insulting to pay an $8 reservation fee when the rest of the country has no such fee.

Lovely trees all around. I love this campground, it’s trail to the waterfalls, and the amazing waterfalls and various plant, tree, and fungus species. It was beautiful. The best part of the trip was the privacy. There was a lot of space and trees between the sites and on our last day there wasn’t a single other person camping on the upper loop. The best relaxation happens when surrounded by nature, living authentically without another person in sight. Absolutely no cellphone service for almost an hour away, so I recommend sending communication and downloading the campsite reservation ahead of time. The area around the vault toilet I used was as clean as can be.
