What Guests Are Saying
Lower Falls Campground features spacious, well-maintained campsites with ample shade and beautiful riverside views, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers. The breathtaking nearby waterfalls and numerous hiking trails enhance the camping experience, although the campground lacks adequate water stations and has issues with cleanliness in the bathrooms. Overall, visitors appreciate the serene environment, helpful camp hosts, and the opportunity to disconnect from technology in a picturesque setting.

Wonderful campground that is well maintained. The individual sites have a decent amount of privacy. And best of all, the campground is within walking distance of lower Lewis River waterfall. The trail to the waterfall is short, with railing for safety and good viewpoints.

Great campground near majestic falls. Perfect for a big adventure with minimal hiking. Campsite 2 was excellent, big and secluded. The Upper loop bathroom was very clean.

Such a well-designed campground in an amazing setting! The waterfalls are gorgeous as is the surrounding woodlands. Too many litterbugs!

love the campsite and the campground. waterfalls are lovely trails are nice campsites are clean and spacious but not crowded next to each other, flat tent sites, nice tables. only negative is the water supply. only one of the two hand pumped wells works and water tastes a little oily. rusty tasting too, but that is not bad

Good layout. Very clean. Good to have hiking trails adjacent to campground. However I do not recommend staying at site #14 due to odor coming from restroom vent across street

What a gorgeous area! So many waterfalls! The Lower Falls close to the campground are easily accessible and simply spectacular; the trail to the Upper Falls area is family friendly. Lots of places to explore nearby. My only complaint was with the reservation system. We were hoping to find a basecamp spot for 5 straight days - willing to move if necessary. It appeared the campground was nearly full, and even though at the end of the season, I was scrambling to find a spot. Actually, there was hardly anyone there. All the sites were marked "reserved" but few showed up. I can't imagine there would be so many no-shows. We ended up with a site on the upper loop where no matter where we sat, our main view was of the restroom.
