Convict Lake Campground offers stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a popular destination for campers. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, proximity to the lake, and various activities like fishing and hiking. However, some sites are small and exposed, with limited shade, and there have been occasional reports of noise and theft. Overall, many guests express a strong desire to return.

Clean facilities & campground was well-maintained. Breathtaking view of the lake just a short walk away and we had great fun fishing at the lake. There was a wedding going on Saturday night but event was died down (no noise travel) by 10PMish, along with the rest of the campsite. Everyone was friendly and we had no issues during our trip. Firewood available for $8 by camp manager or at resort, showers available at resort for fee (purchase tokens at general store). Overall great experience & want to make it an annual trip!

Love the view, Great Lakes but the weather was bad. We went for a three day trip only did two due to rapid weather change. We were looking forward for sunny warm weather but got high winds and snow out of no where. We will give it another chance next year but for this trip just bad.

Camping grounds/sites are great. The caretakers are thorough and clean and maintain each campsite after check out to ensure the next campers have a clean site. They even rake the gravel! Bathrooms onsite are cleaned multiple times a day. There are plenty of trash bins and recycle bins which is great. Deer wander through the sites, this past time using sites 69 and 85 as entry and exit points. Fun for the entire family.
