What Guests Are Saying
Convict Lake Campground offers stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a popular destination for campers. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, proximity to the lake, and various activities like fishing and hiking. However, some sites are small and exposed, with limited shade, and there have been occasional reports of noise and theft. Overall, many guests express a strong desire to return.

Been coming up here for close to 40 years. Campgrounds are in great shape, bathrooms very clean. Looking forward to fire restriction being lifted so can enjoy a campfire and barbecue.

Recommend site for small groups unless renting out several spots. Camp host is super friendly and so nice, out site was way to small for our grp of 5 and he was kind enough to allow us to move to another site that would better fit our grp. I dont know how we were going to do it if it was not for him letting us move. Facilities were super clean and very well kept.

Nice clean campground - clean closed bathrooms with running water. Sites not on top of each other and each site has a beautiful view.

It was my first time at Convict Lake Campground and gotta say it was a wonderful experience. I was in spot #032 next to the restrooms and really enjoyed the walking distance to the lake. Mammoth Lakes is nearby which was great took the family to the Devils Postpile and Rainbow falls. Will definitely go back great location.

Showed up and our trailer wouldn’t fit in our reserved spot. Host gave us a vacant host space with full electric, water, and sewer hook ups!!! There were deer everywhere and the lake is beautiful!!
