Convict Lake Campground offers stunning views, well-maintained facilities, and friendly hosts, making it a popular destination for campers. Visitors appreciate the clean restrooms, proximity to the lake, and various activities like fishing and hiking. However, some sites are small and exposed, with limited shade, and there have been occasional reports of noise and theft. Overall, many guests express a strong desire to return.

Loved staying here and the best part was having the deer roam around, they even came up to our site (amazing!). Also having showers and laundry site nearby at the lodge was amazing as well.

Beautiful campground, beautiful views of the mountains. A bit crowded at the lake. Too many people think it’s for swimming and not for fishing. Dennis, campground manager, was very helpful & pleasant. He is a problem solver.

Wonderful place to stay to see the lake, the only thing is no water at your camp site.

Awesome campsite, great hike around the lake, peaceful in the morning and evening when people head back home. Favorite campground in the Mammoth area. Also short drive to Mammoth if you want to drive up for dinner etc.
