Nice campsites and clean restrooms. Loud generators from many campsites, loud music from two near campsites, but this seemed ok or tolerable for most people. I left a day early for these reasons. I personally would prefer using my senses for hearing stream water, breeze rustling the trees, and listening to wildlife while enjoying the fresh air and night sky. Wonderful trails to run and mnt bike. The road cycling for sightseeing and grand fondo race were excellent.

If you want to drive you off road vehicle on forest roads, this is the place to be. The area is laced with dirt roads. We saw many people with young children hiking off to use the creek to cool off. There is a hiking trail nearby, and a motocross track about a mile away.

Great spot. Feels remote but very close to town. The walk-in site (15) is only 50 steps away from parking. Really enjoyed our stay here. Will stay again!

I only spent one night there, but the space was easy to find, it was plenty big enough for my 21 foot B van, and it was a very beautiful setting.

Campground was very clean and campsite separated enough from neighboring sites to provide adequate privacy. Access was easy from Old Mammoth Road.
