This site has far less trees than it appears to have in the picture. Unfortunately, it seems like many of them have been recently cut down. Either way, our tent in the corner had enough shade. This site is barely a walk-in - you just have to cross a small creek from the parking area and the site is right there. We had no issues with bears or other animals and it was a nice, short drive to town.

Très proche de Mammoth Lakes. Dan est un hôte très sympa. Les emplacements sont spacieux et ombragés.

Very nice secluded campsite, directly next to the stream so we could fall asleep to the sound of the water. Nice campground host.
No bear encounter.

Quiet campground along a creek that feels miles and miles from civilization but is only 10 minutes from town. Vault toilets were clean and well maintained, and campsites were swept and tidy. The campground roads, signage, and other infrastructure could use some maintenance - roads were very rough and in need of gravel and drainage maintenance, and not all of the water sources were functioning. A mix of tent and RV campers, quiet times were appropriately enforced. Overall a great campground and we will be back if we are in the area again.

Site 24 was poorly maintained- table was tilted and unusable, site had trash throughout, hosts were unavailable / unprofessional, site not meant for any 22' plus travel trailer because of the slope, grill and fire pit were 4 & 7 feet from trailer, neaiboring site was too close and provides no privacy. Worst camp site I have had in all of my travels. As with most Rec.gov site photos they show online are of no use in preparing travels and the site is listed to be able to accommodate RV Max length 36 ft.. Toilets were clean and cellular service was above average (Verizon / T-Mobile). This is my first negative post.

Very nice campground. Clean and lots of room at each site. Tip: enter the campground from the road in town, do not enter from Sherwin Creek off the 395. Long dirt road road that was incredibly bumpy!
