What Guests Are Saying
Wild Plum Campground is praised for its beautiful and peaceful setting, with clean facilities and helpful camp hosts. Visitors enjoy the well-organized layout, proximity to hiking trails, and the tranquil ambiance provided by the nearby creek. While some concerns about bear activity and the availability of potable water were noted, the overall experience remains positive, with many campers expressing a desire to return.

Great place, lots of kids and music from other campgrounds. The sounds of the forest & creek drown it all out though!!

Wild Plum campground is one of my favorite places to stay.
Weather was great. Haypress Creek was roaring. The Yuba River was spectacular. Gold Lake was like glass.
No cell service though, which is both good and bad.

Half of the campsites were marked with reservation cards and nobody showed up for the site which seems wrong too me. It's like camping for rich people only. First come first served, like it used to be please.

Was very disappointed that there was no camp host on site. The bathrooms were a mess. We arrived on a Monday and were already filthy. By Wednesday completely out of toilet paper. The rangers were coming by but did not actually clean or restock anything till Thursday. I'm aware that the fires going on that change the situation of site care, but it would have been nice to have been given a notice of it. The price should have reflected change.

In accordance with standard industry practices, we will be assessing a $5 additional vehicle fee on the 'second vehicle' in each single family campsite, and on the 'third and fourth vehicle' in any double family campsite, provided these vehicles are not joined to the first vehicle by a hitch and towed onto the site. In the case of motorcycles, the first two are considered to be one vehicle and the third and fourth are also considered to be one vehicle. No additional vehicle fees are collected for bicycles. |
