The location is perfect to fully discover the main attractions and trails of Sequoia National Park. The campground has all you need if you are Rv traveler or just a car. We were worry that could be crowded as all sites were booked. But it didn’t feel crowded at all. Definitely we will come back

This location provided an excellent experience for us. We were walking distance from both the hiking trail and the river. The restrooms were clean and convenient. Our campground was very secluded and off to the side. We knew this park was busy and packed, but the one disadvantage was that our camping neighbors did not observe quiet hours and there were several individuals walking across our site. Besides that we had a great stay and will revisit again.

Great location - walking distance to the site is minimal, you’re within walking distance of the Lodgepole Market where hot showers, laundry facility, souvenirs, light groceries, and a hot meal are all available. Site 38 is near the river with excellent view of the river and mountains at sunrise. Restrooms were clean and there’s water available for cooking/cleaning close by.

One of my favorite sites at this location. Easy access to water, plenty of shade, restrooms far enough away yet close enough to access. Park on road next to site, easy unload, single vehicle parking. Short walk to Visitors center with showers & store. Also $1 showers and laundromat at same location , WIFI also & Museum.

Had a great time at a great site! Make sure to reserve your cave tickets two months in advance. Don't be like me and do it last minute. I always love camping by the river.

A beautiful and thriving wilderness amongst the campgrounds. Each space has a fair distance from neighbors. Bathrooms flush and the market is nearby and easily accessible.

Dangerous Rivers! Many drowning victims were playing near rivers. Rivers present a far greater danger than lakes or pools. Surfaces may look calm, but strong currents often run below. Be cautious walking near rivers as rocks can be slippery. Getting out of a cold, swift river is often impossible.
