Our only negative, we were in a section where generators were allowed. When one stopped, another started.
Very busy campground. Our area emptied every morning and was full in the evenings. Water quality was very good.
We did several day hikes right from the campground and otherwise were located close to where we visited. Booked for two weeks. Left a day early only because we were “treed out” and ran out of things to do.

Our campsite was quite limited in space, so we had to set up our small tent on the parking area.
The toilet facilities were dark, old, and not very clean.
However, the gate staff were very helpful and provided complete information about the campground, which was appreciated.
I also enjoyed the educational activity provided by the ranger about bears. It was a great session, and I was lucky to attend the last one of the season

The campground is centrally located and close to a couple good trails, but really needs to be refreshed. The bathroom nearest to us was not working and the next closest bathroom was in pretty bad shape. Our picnic table look like it might’ve been from the 1970s. Our walk-in site had pros and cons. On one hand, it was pretty close to the river and we could easily sit by the river. On the other, we walked in a decent distance only to find that the view from our picnic table was a big parking lot. That seemed very strange for a walk-in site, which I usually would expect to be a little farther away from parking.

Really noce campground in the nature, perfect tò hike in the most beatiful places of Sequoia National Park.
The campsite was really comfortable and private.
Unfortunately, the toilet and the showers of the visitor center were really old and dirty

Great campsite. Plenty of tent spots. Would be great for several tents. Proximity to bathroom and creek is a plus. The fire pit and table are close to car which is great. Overall great site!

The location is the best part of the campground. Close to a river, which turned into a stream, in late July and hiking trails. Lodgepole was perfect location wise. The campsite was super hot between 1pm-4pm. Only one stall in the bathroom worked. The showers by the store were disgusting. 2/4 stalls worked. Apparently the camp host/rangers don’t work weekends because our neighbors played loud music until 3 am. The site itself was not as small as other reviewers made it out to be, could fit 2 6 person tents if need be. Be advised is only room for one car in the parking area. My daughter loved climbing the large boulders
Within the campground. I would stay here again but not expect a shower.

Great site for hikes and to see God’s creation. General store is close by if you forget something.

The site is nice, right on the river, water spigot near, but it is also right on a path and small. Nearest restrooms were closed and porta potties added.

Dangerous Rivers! Many drowning victims were playing near rivers. Rivers present a far greater danger than lakes or pools. Surfaces may look calm, but strong currents often run below. Be cautious walking near rivers as rocks can be slippery. Getting out of a cold, swift river is often impossible.
