The campsite was excellent and as described regarding the tent size that it would accommodate. The restrooms are dated and need to be cleaned more thoroughly. There was a camper that arrived very late at night and setup using power tools for an eternity.

We put together 3 nights by scoring 3 separate campsites through Recreation.gov. Alerts helped. The three sites were all in the upper loop and were all fine. It gets quieter toward the end of the loop so 121 was our quietest, 77 our noisiest and 94 in between. However, campers were good about observing quiet hours from 10pm-6am. We did the hike to Gen.Sherman tree and hardly saw anyone until we got close. After hikes we appreciated the plunge pool in the stream that runs through the campground. A cup of coffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream at the market was another welcome treat.

Our family used Lodgepole Sequoia National Park. I love the site and also love its convenience near the trail and places for my kids to play. Furthermore, the market was the right entrance to the campsite, we were able to purchase some items we forgot to bring.

My partner and I went camping in a Sunday through Monday (just one night), while also taking advantage of the free park day. It was packed, as other people had the same idea, but the campground was great! This site is right next to the creek, lots of kids playing in the water. Remember to bring a water shoe to play there too!
Only annoying thing is that the restroom didn’t have a light, so just remember to bring your lantern as well.
Great camping experience! Beautiful park! So much wildlife! We came across with 3 black bears (two cubs and a big one) while hiking and some deer visits in our camping site.
We planned on leaving early in Monday morning, but we actually had such good coverage that we were able to work from the camping, then enjoying more the park before coming home!
We’re definitely returning!

Beautiful campsite!
I don't know that it was clear that you cannot pull up directly to your campsite and instead have to walk equipment in.

Great location, next to the Marble Fork of the Kaweah River. Easy access to the Lakes Train and Tokopah Falls Trail.
Not far from the General Store/Post Office/Restaurant. Short drive to Morro Rock and the Grove of Giants.

Our campsite was great, enjoyed being near the river.
The bathrooms didn’t have any mirrors or any lights, so very dark at night.

Excellent campsite, right next to the stream! Nice shade during the day if staying in the camp! Other than the and 500 yard walk to the campsite to load and unload all the equipment, the only other issue was the bathroom was a bit inaccessible especially during the night.

Dangerous Rivers! Many drowning victims were playing near rivers. Rivers present a far greater danger than lakes or pools. Surfaces may look calm, but strong currents often run below. Be cautious walking near rivers as rocks can be slippery. Getting out of a cold, swift river is often impossible.
