Our stay at North Pines was truly magical! Our favorite national park so far and our campsite near the river exceeded our expectations. We cannot wait to return. Loved every minute of our 4-night stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend bringing bikes to easily get around the park. We were able to use generator during mealtimes which was helpful. Thankful for the dump and refill station nearby. That came in handy with no hook ups. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay!

I love Yosemite and camping at Yosemite. This is a very crowded campground (many spots with way too many people) but the location is great and it was the only campground I could get a spot in

We loved how centrally located the campground is with ease of access to the trails, biking paths, Curry Village, etc. We especially enjoyed the access to the river to cool off in the hot afternoons.

Campsite was directly across from the river so we enjoyed the sounds the entire time. Got to see a mama bear and cub across the river this time. Weather was in the 90’s so having shade was a must. One of our best trips ever to Yosemite!

Campground was clean and well maintained including bathrooms. Hosts at the entrance were very nice and helpful. Our campsite, I believe #108, was in full sun all day due to 3 large trees being cut down. The registration site should make a note of this. It was also grossly overgrown…in same areas pushing 4ft tall. On our second to last day there an employee or volunteer came through our camp with a weedeater. I appreciated it being cut, but the person had no respect for our campsite. Grass was EVERYWHERE! All over our tents, bear box, picnic table and all over the ground. Would have been nice if they could have blown it off. They also cut one of the string tie downs on our tent…I assume with the weedeater.
Additionally, construction near our campground was supposed to be completed before our trip. This is why we booked at that time, but it was far from done…super disappointed to see how much more had to be done when we arrived. My father-in -law doesn’t walk well and we were counting on the use of buses instead we had to drive him with his handicap sticker and circle parking lots several times until a spot was available. The soft road closures were not monitored which allowed a lot of ineligible traffic (non-employee and/or non-handicap vehicles) on the roads.

Obviously beautiful and amazing to be in Yosemite Valley. It is so close to everything, and so so much better than driving from outside of the park. The campgrounds are peaceful, as well, despite it being relatively packed in. The only nuisance is dishwashing & the men's bathroom situation. For dishwashing, they ask that you 1) fetch water at the nearest bathroom, 2) wash dishes at your campsite, then 3) bring back that gray water and dispose of it in the waste water stall near the bathrooms. It is morally easy to comply so that our parks/Yosemite remains beautiful, but it would be awesome if there were more water stations throughout the campground for fetching. And lastly, there's only one toilet stall per bathroom on the men's side. Gets backed up in the mornings, so get ready to wait in line!
