Generators are out of control they noisy, emitting fumes and just downright ruin the experience in the outdoors especially here in yosemite

We love Yosemite but We had a lot of small pieces of litter around our campsite, wondering if so much pressure and no time too rake is the cause but people need to be more diligent at cleaning up after themselves.
The camp sites are crowded and a long walk to get water and dispose of grey water.

My best camping experience ever.
Our campsite had views of half dome on one side and views of the Merced River on the other. It was a very short trip to the river bank where we could also see Yosemite falls.

This first time visitor to Yosemite, like all others, was wowed and stunned by the topography. Despite the difficulty in securing a campsite, the experience of staying in the Valley is more than worth it. A great feel of being "in the forest" despite many nearby neighbors. Enough trees to provide ample shade but still allow for a view of cliff faces. The obvious challenge is the number of visitors that make for lines everywhere.

Great spot in the valley. Sites next to the river are the best if you can get them. Facilities were good, clean flushing toilets, although no showers. Staff were available to help check in and assist with questions.

Great campsite right in front of the river. The sites are small so it kinda feels like everyone is on top of each other and zero privacy but it was fine. Honestly the river made up for it. No showers and bathrooms were somewhat clean. Had normal flushing toilets so I was happy.

We were lucky to get a spot in the Valley when someone cancelled and happy with #400. One thing to know about the campgrounds in Yosemite Valley is that they are packed! You're there for the convienience of being close to it all, but don't expect privacy. That said, it was great to be right there and this site had a view of Half Dome that was an unexpected treat.
