Obviously an excellent location, river within walking distance, access to trails, amenities etc. The spots are very close to neighbors with no privacy, but I understand the demand on the location. The biggest issue is at night everyone has a fire so it’s very Smokey since you are in the valley and it all sits in camp. They do have burn limits I think between 5-10pm. But If you are sensitive to smoke be aware.

Great location near Curry Village and Nevada/Vernal Falls. We also like the walkability to the Merced River.

Loved our stay here. Lovely well spaced campsite. Stunning surroundings. Facilities were well maintained and clean. Great sense of place looking up at night through the trees towards the cliffs and the stars beyond.
