What Guests Are Saying
Dearhamer Campground is a well-maintained site with excellent fishing and a beautiful natural ambiance from the nearby rushing river. Camp hosts are friendly and keep the facilities, including the pit toilets, exceptionally clean. While some guests experienced issues with site assignments and off-leash dogs, many plan to return due to the overall positive experience and stunning surroundings.

Beautiful small campground. The sound of the rushing river was delightful. Hiking, fishing and wildlife watching are the main activities here.
Campground host Todd and his sidekick pup Troy were welcoming and helpful. No cell service.

Overall we love this campground. It’s quiet. Great fishing. The problem we had this year is it seems the site numbers have changed and don’t match the map online. I booked site 7 which shows on the map as being on the outside of the loop in the tree area but when we got there site 7 was actually in the center of the circle with no trees. Very disappointed with that site. The map online needs to be updated to reflect the correct sites numbers and locations.

Great hosts! Restrooms are kept super clean. No issues at all.
We'll be back again.

This was probably the worst campsite I've ever seen: no shade, no privacy, no room... Nope!

I almost don't want to leave a review so people don't know how good it is.

This is a nice campground. The sites are fairly close to each other, so if you get noisy neighbors, it can be annoying.
The facilities are well maintained, and service staff is pleasant and organized. We like the location, as it is close to several great hikes. We did not spend any time on the lake.
