Dearhamer Campground is a well-maintained site with excellent fishing and a beautiful natural ambiance from the nearby rushing river. Camp hosts are friendly and keep the facilities, including the pit toilets, exceptionally clean. While some guests experienced issues with site assignments and off-leash dogs, many plan to return due to the overall positive experience and stunning surroundings.

Hands down the best campground! Love that we can be near a river and the lake. Love the near by hiking. Drives to see more beautiful things… the staff are awesome! Especially love Jean!

Absolutely stunning. Tucked away but close enough to Basalt that if you need something it’s available. Clean camp grounds and lots of fish when we went in late September.

The campground itself was ok. There look to be a few sites better than others but some are very exposed to both the sun and other campers.

Small, quiet campground. Access to water is easy. Nice trees for shelter/sun.
Bathrooms very clean!

First time coming to this campground and I loved it ! The host was kind, the wildlife was great ! Lucky to see 4 bald eagles flying around the reservoir while paddle boarding !

Such a great little spot. Happened to be there while the run-off had the little creek by our campsite flowing. Made for great sleeping sounds.
