Campground was fairly quiet, electricity was nice to have. Vault toilets were not well kept up with. Site had dirt and more dirt. Would recommend overall. Walk to dog friendly hike trailhead.

This is a pretty nice campground, typical of other national park campgrounds I have camped in. The spots are pretty small but our trailer is 22’ so we were able to manage. The driveway for this site isn’t the best. It was a little tricky getting level in spot B11 and our step ended up about a foot short of the bushes out front making it a little trickier getting in and out of the trailer. That said the table, fire pit, and tent pad are nice and set back in the trees a bit. Probably a better tent spot than RV.

We liked the campsite. Even though there is not much space between each of them it still feels like you have enough privacy.

Nice pull through site with electric. Close enough to the pit toilets that we got some aromas when the wind was right. Note that the fire ring and picnic table are on the left side of the site.

Enjoyed my third visit to Black Canyon as much as I did the first time. A lot to admire and enjoy the walking to the sites and the hikes around the Visitor Center. The campground was great, quiet

The campground is clean and the ranger programs are fun and educational. The campground itself needs major tree trimming and maintenance. Like most older federal campgrounds, most of the spots are tight and meant for small camping units and tents. The Black Canyon itself is absolutely stunning and the fall colors of the Gambel Oak are beautiful.
