The campsites were wonderful. The area & hiking was great. The only complaint is the water system
was not working so we had to drive 1 mi to haul water for our use. We pull a travel trailer so we had to disconnect to go get water-kind of a pain. The campground maintenance man said the broken pipe was scheduled for repair quite a while ago.... Sounds like this needs follow-up. The campground host was very helpful and friendly, and the restrooms were clean and stocked.

Love the peace and quiet, and the wildlife that roams through the campground. Close enough to Estes Park and Blackhawk.

From Denver, travel north on Interstate 25 north, to U.S. Highway 36 and continue west through Boulder, to Lyons.
From Lyons, take Highway 7 for 12 mi to Highway 72, then continue south for four miles. Watch for signs for Peaceful Valley and Camp Dick Campgrounds. Turn west onto Middle Saint Vrain Road (County Road 92 & National Forest System Road 114) and proceed approximately one mile to Camp Dick.
Highway access
Camp Dick is accessible via Interstate 25 to U.S. Highway 36, which continues to Highway 7. Highway 7 provides access to Highway 72, leading to County Road 92.
