Excellent camping spot. My favorite always. Lake Dillon is super low, lower than I have ever seen. But Heaton Bay is still a beautiful place to camp.
I wish there were more electrical spaces so I could get reservations more often.

We love Heaton Bay. It is so convenient to many of our favorite hikes and to Frisco, a town full of great shops and restaurants. It's also a short drive from Denver if you're looking for a quick getaway. Only drawback is the noise from the nearby Interstate. Other than that, camp hosts are usually great. Views are wonderful.
