This was a great location for mountain views, hiking, biking.
2 things that were odd. Loop A has no bathroom at all and loop B has 2. When we arrived the host told us we could only fill our water tank with a hose, even though this was not posted on the water pump or on the website. One host said it was because of the draught and the other said it was because of back pressure from a hose. All spots in C had water hookups, so this was confusing. We really enjoyed our site and being right in the mountains. The bike trail is great, but use caution on the weekends as the traffic on it really picks up and some are going quite fast.

Very pleasant spot at 76 E loop. The water is so low right now that I could walk around a couple of the "ponds" and took lovely pictures of Great Blue Herons and Canada Geese. The cars seems quite close together but once you were at the picnic table, it was very private.
Bathroom was close and spotless!

Beautiful campground and the views from out on the lake in our kayaks can’t be beat. The bathrooms were very clean and the hosts were very helpful and friendly.

We have been camping at Heaton Bay for many years but this year we found water was not available to fill our RV and there was no info posted to let us know where to fill.
