What Guests Are Saying
Peak One Campground boasts a fantastic location near trails, towns, and Lake Dillon, making it ideal for outdoor activities. The campground is clean, well-maintained, and offers good privacy between sites. However, there are ongoing issues with restroom facilities, as vault toilets remain closed and only porta-potties are available, which some guests found less than satisfactory.

Awesome mountain views! I really enjoyed this campsite. When I visited it was very busy (almost all sites booked). The sites are closer to each other and you can see/hear your neighbors. It's not too bad, but some sites are a bit more exposed than others, so do research sites before booking.

Perfect location by the lake and close to all the bike trails.
Although the bathroom was closed due to winter damage the alternative, multiple porta-potties, were the perfect solution.
We will be back next summer.

For the fee charged, there should be nice restrooms, not just port-a-potties and no showers.

The bathrooms didn't work so they had porta potties instead, which was a bummer. But other than that, that campground is my favorite. I love how we are so close to the water, and all the other fun things to do in the Frisco/Dillon area. You can't go wrong at this site.

Other than the bathrooms not being in service this year, the place is our favorite

This is a great destination for biking, hiking, and kayaking. Restrooms are being repaired and needing updating. The asphalt road around the campground is getting very potholed!

Campground is not maintained. No water. The toilets have been broken for over a year, so they set up portable toilets like you would see at a festival. Campsites were weedy and pavement is breaking down. Hardly any of the sites have a lake view due to a sort of berm between the campground and the lake. Despite the poor upkeep, the campground is consistently full due to it's location. Great access to the mountain bike trails on the peninsula.

The campground is advertised with running/drinking water and flushing toilets. However, this was not the case when I was there. There was no running/drinking water and the toilets were out of service. Instead, the campground had portable toilets placed at various locations which varied greatly on sanitary conditions.
