The place was amazing! We explored and adventured, perfect for kids! So close to the town of Frisco, and great hiking from the camp site to the reservoir! Can't wait to be back :)

Spacious sites, some close to Lake Dillon, great views of the 10 mile range, and close to many adventures, supplies.

A fair amount of the sites had way too many people at them. The extra cars were sticking out into the road. The partying kept my wife and I up well into the early morning. This also made for some overused restrooms. I’m not sure how peoples waste ended up where it did. Yuk. The views were nice though.

Lovely location with views of the Tenmile and Gore ranges, easy access to Dillon/Silverthorne/Frisco/Breckenridge. Quick drive/bike to Sapphire Point overlook.
Friendly staff, capacious campsites.
Water in C loop was discolored but delicious.
Potable water supply at campground entrance was locked off, reasons unclear.

Stayed in C loop for one night. Pretty heavily forested and decent privacy. Could not see the lake from this loop

It is a beautiful and clean campground. We were sadly disappointed the water was not available and the website didn’t share the information that the well had run dry

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This prevents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on Saturday. |
| General |
Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
