I reserved this site knowing I would have a late arrival. Arrived just before dark, the campsite was easy to find. Bathrooms were super clean, great job rec staff! Quick drive to Dillon and Frisco, such a neat area and great campground.

Super clean sites and bathrooms..hosts were non intrusive.. great campground in spite of being big and popular. Loop c sites are nicely situated and spread out.

Nice campground close to services. Young trees coming in afford some privacy between very large sites. Clean pit toilets, running potable water. Bring a water bladder to have water in site, there seemed to be only one tap per loop. Would go again if we come through again.

The area was very pretty! Good views from a lot of spots. Lots of people packed in though, so it does get loud. We got no sleep one night due to a crying baby for an hour and a religious group praying/singing very loudly until 4:30am. If you want peace and quiet at night, not the right spot.

Prospector has a beautiful view of the mountains. If you like people this is the place for you. Campsites are close with little privacy. The campground was clean as well as the toilets. We went on the weekend and quiet hours were ignored by other guests with loud music and noise into the night.

Campers must occupy the site the first night at a campsite. This prevents booking the site for Fri-Sun and showing up on Saturday. |
| General |
Campers may leave the site for 24 hours and must occupy the site otherwise. This allows a camper to say go for an overnight backpack trip in the woods for one night and come back to their campsite the next day. |
