What Guests Are Saying
Kipahulu Campground offers a stunning location with breathtaking views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground features spacious sites, well-maintained bathrooms, and close proximity to the beautiful Pipiwai Trail. While some campers experienced noise disturbances and the campground lacks water and showers, the overall serene atmosphere and natural beauty make it a memorable experience for many.

Very nice place to stay! Woke up to the sun rising over the water. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hiking trails were amazing! Would definitely recommend!!

Great campsite. Awesome views from site 17. Clean bathrooms. Wish there was potable water at the campground (need to walk to the visitor center ~a 1/4 mile a way).

Nice campsite, perfect ocean views, not too far from Hana and its nice beaches. There is a 3 mi waterfall hike right from the campsite.

Great campground, very clean restrooms, plenty of space for car camping and ground pretty levelled !

Experience was good including the ease of checking and check out. More trees or bushes to separate campsites would be welcome. The odour from the washrooms was terrible.

We were only here one night and loved it. We had campsite 18, one of the walk-in sites on the coast. It was so beautiful, such an amazing sunrise to watch in the morning.

I haven't camped here in many years. Having a family now, I appreciate being able to reserve a spot and not have to rush over hoping to have a camp site.
Unfortunately, we picked spot #11 which was fairly consistently down wind of the latrines. The spot next to us, #10, showed reserved on the website when we booked so I didn't consider moving over. Nobody ever showed for that spot.
Overall the campsite is well maintained.
