What Guests Are Saying
Kipahulu Campground offers a stunning location with breathtaking views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground features spacious sites, well-maintained bathrooms, and close proximity to the beautiful Pipiwai Trail. Super nice camp site, lots of space between sites, clean facilities and quiet. Beautiful spot indeed.

Best national Park campground! Sights we had were private, shaded by pretty halal trees and spectacular ocean views. Only disappointment is the park service pathetically permanently closing all swimming areas.

Peaceful place. Frankly I hope not many find out about it, so it stays peaceful :)

We loved Kipahulu!
All the people working here were so nice and helpful. They remembered our names and offered a car camping site, instead of a tent site, since there was heavy rain. Mahalo! The banyan tree on pipiwai trail is truly magnificent, and we enjoyed a swim at a nearby waterfall. There are a few small roadside stands in the area offering fresh fruit. All the fruit we bought was delicious and reasonably priced. We loved how chill this area of Maui was. We will definitely be returning.

My favorite place in the world. Things are always a little different each time I go because they’re taking such good care of it there. It’ll be nice when swimming is back in the lower pools, but everything else is just amazing, as always.

Site was great! Unfortunately, the site wasn’t properly labelled online so we did not know it was a walk in site and were camping in our truck. The parking spots for the walk in sites is right beside the washroom, which had a horrible odour. However, staff were very accommodating and let us park elsewhere.
