Kipahulu Campground offers a stunning location with breathtaking views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground features spacious sites, well-maintained bathrooms, and close proximity to the beautiful Pipiwai Trail. Wind & rain didn't even make a mark on our perfect girls Kipahulu reunion! The campground was tidy & lovely. And the rangers...both the ladies we talked to were absolutely amazing! Checking in & out was a breeze. Helpful, patient and kind! Mahalo nui loa!💙🩵💙🌈

Walkin campsites with gorgeous ocean views and tent-sheltering trees, would definitely stay again. very basic facilities (no water), so come prepared!

I used tent at this campsite. You can car camp if you prefer. Some view of the ocean. Near the bathrooms.

Nice campsite, beautiful view. You need to walk in some distance carrying your gear. No water available at any Kipahulu campsites.

Great campground, staff very helpful and friendly, we stayed on a site by the shore, the sound of crashing waves at night wasn’t exactly white noise but I wouldn’t have traded it for anything! Bathrooms clean and a short walk for all sites, we can’t wait to come back

Beautiful location. Having no cell service, I couldn't recall steps to complete registration and no one was there when we arrived. So next day they came around and we were supposed to grab something with our name to confirm Our arrival. 🤷♂️ that was confusing. But didn't cause any issues. Pretty setting. Did the hike next day but also unsure how to check out so those could be clearer :) no complaints, nice basic Campground.

Beautiful campground. Open, with ample room between neighbors. Website was very clear about walk-in vs. tent-only sites, which was appreciated. Clean, vaulted toilets. No showers. Spotty but semi-available cell service. No beach or access to rocky cliff side. Close access to visitor center and hiking trail. Can’t beat the price in the park (Kipahulu and Hosmer Grove) vs. any other campground on Maui, by quite a bit!

The campground is very nice even if there is no showers. It’s quiet, in the woods. The location is close to the town of Hana.
