Kipahulu Campground offers a stunning location with breathtaking views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground features spacious sites, well-maintained bathrooms, and close proximity to the beautiful Pipiwai Trail. Great campsite. Amazing place to watch the stars. Next time, we'll get the sites directly on the water!

Had a great stay! Easy access to trails and the stars were magnificent at night. I wish there was beach access but nonetheless we had a great time. The woman upfront helping us was so nice and outgoing. I feel bad for not catching her name but I hope to see her again!

Perfect location for easy access to hiking the trails in the area. It was nice to listen to the crashing waves.

The campsites were spread apart and this site was gorgeous and away from the rest of the sites, but the wind and waves were so loud we couldn’t sleep the whole night. Pretty sure it would have been quiet enough to sleep by the main campsite loop. Running water and flush toilets were at the visitors center, which was a pretty long walk. Only one of the doors on the vault toilets at the campground latched.

Excellent spot for a few nights. We had intermittent rain during our stay. Beautiful spot, very nicely kept grounds. Reservations fill up quick so you need to be on your toes to reserve the dates you prefer. Mahalo

One of the best campsites I’ve stayed in! Yes it’s a walk, but it’s isolated and beautiful with views of crashing waves

It was a horrible camp ground. There is a dark restroom with no water. You need to drive to the visitor center for a fancies(!!!) restroom over night.

Kipahulu campgrounds was beautiful and the water changed color with the sun going from a deep green to a deeper azure blue. We enjoyed our picnic lunch in a grove of trees. Then we hiked to the Falls, which is a lovely hike through the forest of super tall trees to a waterfall that felt really surreal after that hike. The sun was shining and a breeze was blowing and the water set amongst the trees and mountains was picturesque.
