Kipahulu Campground offers a stunning location with breathtaking views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground features spacious sites, well-maintained bathrooms, and close proximity to the beautiful Pipiwai Trail. Arrived late, but clear directions on what to do for camping. Beautiful location, grass field to tent on, and clean washrooms.
The road to Hana was a must, 2 nights here was needed and we still wished we had more time.

This is the most beautiful and magical campground I’ve ever stayed at, especially if you can get the cliff side camp spots! We sat out and watched whales go by, the area is so spread out, you can’t see or hear your neighbors, and at night, we laid out under the stars. It was fantastic.

This campground is great if you like the convenience of being near many nice places such as pipiwai trail, ohe'o gulch, hamoa Beach etc. and want to spread the road to Hana over a couple days. It's so peaceful and has large campsites not much privacy though if you care about that. Check in was really smooth and easy the bathrooms were clean. There is no running water and shower though just so you're aware but there's a great spot to watch the sunrise. 10/10 would recommend the only downside is the road to get there. Past Hana there is a ton of potholes and still has a few turns so it's a little sketchy just a heads-up, otherwise great and such a great price too.

The campground had beautiful views and is in a great location with proximity to Hana and waterfall hikes. We were there during a rain storm, and all of the sites did get pretty waterlogged (Not much coverage or drainage. It's a very open campsite).

Love this campground! It's a big grassy area with trees on one side and the ocean on the other. Sleeping to the waves crashing is heavenly and there are several incredible hiking trails within walking distance. The bathrooms were clean - probably the cleanest of any campground we've been to. We have Verizon and had some internet off and on at the campground. The only downside is it's at the end of Hana Highway. It's a journey to get to but so worth it and a perfect home base to explore the area. There are a few walk in sites right on the ocean. They are gorgeous but were rather windy when we were there.
