Kipahulu Campground offers a stunning location with breathtaking views, clean facilities, and friendly staff, making it a favorite among visitors. The campground features spacious sites, well-maintained bathrooms, and close proximity to the beautiful Pipiwai Trail. Without hesitation one of the most gorgeous campgrounds I’ve experienced! Restrooms were super clean and well maintained. The group site allows you to be set slightly further back. Other sites are fairly close together but there are many that offer you to set up against the trees for a break from the wind. Gorgeous sunrise views and super quiet. Only downside is you do have to go up to the visitors center for water and it’s only available via water fountain not spigot. Definitely plan ahead on food/drink because there are not stores easily accessible.

Great spot! Hearing the crashing waves of the ocean was lovely to fall asleep and wake up to. Great to be able to hike the Pipiwai trail first thing in the morning too.

Great campground, lots of people only stayed for a night but we stayed for 3. Clean, a little close together but not a big deal if you don't have a tent or you get one of the sites on the edge. There isn't running water but there is drinking water available at the visitor center very close by.

We were here in February and it rained every night! Make sure you bring a rain tarp. This campground is just beautiful. The groundskeepers/park rangers are very nice. Bathrooms were clean and well ventilated. The "walk-in" sites along the coast were gorgeous - we want to snag those next time!

Perfect. My only two suggestions. Make the camp limit 5 days. Have a phone computer charge station somewhere.

Friendly staff! Washroom and campsite were clean and in perfect condition. Walk in sites have the most beautiful views.
