Wonderful stay here at Many Glacier campground. I really like our campsite 058 as it was close to everything we needed -- fresh water spigot, trash receptacle, and bathrooms -- but also didn't feel like we were too close to other campers. We stayed September 10th to the 13th. For us it was perfect timing: a little less busy, campground still had access to flush toilets, weather generally wasn't too hot, and we didn't have to pay extra for the Going to the Sun Road. However, some things were in the process of shutting down or had already shut down at this time, so if hitting up the local coffee places and restaurants is important to you, you may want to go earlier. What we were more concerned about was the lack of firewood anywhere in the area, as a campfire is kind of a staple for me when camping! No one in Many Glacier had firewood, but fortunately, we drove to another campground that had a few bundles left. With it being the end of peak season, no one was really supplying firewood anymore. We got lucky. One other thing to keep in mind is that the temperature could drop pretty low and pretty quickly once the sun disappeared behind the mountains. The highs were in the mid to high 70s during the day but dropped into low 40s at least one of our nights there, so bring warm clothes and good sleeping bags if doing this outside of the peak summer months.
This campground is close to some great hikes. It was a short walk from our campsite to the Grinnell Glacier trail, which is great because the lot was completely filled, and cars were parked on the side of the road for quite a ways. This is a beautiful trail. For trails that are on the Going to the Sun Road, you'll have to do a little driving. Took us about an hour to get to Logan's Pass from our site.
Overall, we loved our stay here. Glacier is a beautiful place, and this campground is wonderful. Perfect place for getting away from electronics and unwinding, while still having access to sinks and flush toilets.

Awesome camp ground. Clean rest rooms, top notch fire rings, water and everything was amazing.

The campsite was excellent. Clean, easy to find, with plentiful bear lockers. The only problem was that fire wood was a challenge to secure, but that was less the fault of the facilities and more because of when we decided to visit (near the end of the season). Overall, this may have been the best trip I've taken yet to a National Park.

Very disappointed in the bathroom facilities at Glacier campsites. Very run down! Hot and cold water would be nice at all the campgrounds.
Trails need to be better marked at Glacier too.
Also if you need to reserve through the website, then have WiFi at ranger station so we can reserve and check availability without having to travel to a nearby town. The US can do better than this, check out the Canadian's campgrounds like Jasper. They have wonderful campgrounds and well marked trials.
We have traveled all over the US to National Parks, and would like to see major improvements to the bathroom facilities at almost every one of their parks.

The location is convenient and offers beautiful views and hiking trails close by. Love the fire pits and the bathrooms were well maintained with eccentric showers.

Amazing campground with some fantastic views! The amount of the trails that leave directly from the campground is amazing, especially since the three I went on were all very different from one another and all absolutely fantastic!

Loved our stay at Many Glacier! The campground was clean and quiet. Everyone was respectful and our stuff was left alone when we were not at camp. Would 100% recommend staying here, as all the major Many Glacier trailheads are in walking distance.
