What Guests Are Saying
Zephyr Cove RV & Campground offers a beautiful location with stunning views of Lake Tahoe and a serene atmosphere, particularly in the off-season when it is less crowded. Many guests appreciate the clean and well-maintained sites, friendly staff, and proximity to the beach and other attractions. However, some reviews mention issues with bathroom cleanliness and management, especially during peak times, along with concerns about pricing and discount availability. Overall, it remains a popular choice for camping, especially in winter.

Fantastic location for walking over to the beach on the lake.

Great area and right off of the highway, so choose spots deeper inside the RV park and you won't hear any of the traffic. Beautiful area.

This park is a hidden gem. Walk to the beach and close to the casinos as well, but away from all the traffic of it. The rv spots are tight but doable with a 35 foot 5th wheel. Had to park my truck sideways to fit. Actually had starlink work there. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice facility, clean. Beautiful , great staff.
Only comment would be to enforce the no parking at the walk-in tent camping. Cars and trucks were parked over several days making navigation difficult and dangerous should evacuation be necessary.

The water spigot in our site was leaking heavily and made a muddy mess. We had people that kept walking through our camp. I used to come to the beach in the summer as a kid, and it was SO overcrowded.

I reserved site #117. I was told the space would accommodate a 34' trailer and two vehicles. That is definitely NOT the case! I have a 24' trailer, and the site was so tiny that my F250 truck could not fit let alone a 2nd vehicle. The site is positioned behind two sites above it, none flat. The firepit from one of the sites was literally 5' from my trailer. The second sight, you might as well enjoy your days together because you're that close.
The other negatives, your picnic table sits next to the fence belonging to the dumpsters so that's "fun". You're also close to the hwy so the road noise is heavy.
I realize camping is meant for vacationing and relaxing, but should you need to work, there is little to no internet service unless you go across the street to the lodge.
Overall, we made do but if the above would bother you then this site is not for you!

Great location for getting to the beach. Sites were not level, but able to get level with blocks. Turns are tight so use a spotter to get around.

Zephyr Cove RV resort is a wonderful place for couples or families. From kayaking, paddle boards, beach activities, or just a cool drink in the sand, it is all there for you to enjoy! The MS Dixie is a must! Can’t wait to go back next year!!

The views of the lake are amazing. The camp site is pretty and close to everything you need. There are designated sites for RVs up to 50 feet long and sites for RVs <30 feet long. Be careful! If you don’t want to be surrounded by obnoxiously large, behemoth RVs that block your view, get a site in the 180s. We learned the hard way and the staff was not very welcoming or helpful.
