We loved location but didn’t have adequate water pressure so when we went to front desk he admitted space #173 was NOT working properly and needed to be fixed I would hope we would get a 2 night credit for this inconvenience

My family and I go here often for the summer. Such a great place for families and pets. This time around we encounter a couple of bears but they left us alone and vice versa. Definitely recommend.

The campground is pretty tight, but we had no problem getting in and out. 37' RV. Bathrooms were kept clean and it is just a short walk from your site to the beach. Ate at the restaurant and food was very good as well as the service. It is a credit card only. Checked in and the host was great. He had been working there only eight days, but was very knowledgeable. We would gvo back again.

Great facility & location. Excellent access to lake and activities. Also, close to “town.” Just need WiFi.

Excellent site and perfect for staying in South Lake Tahoe area. I hope that Zephyr Cove remains available for use by the public and not sold off to some private entity.

We love this campground very much, and we come here nearly every year for a couple of years It is a beautiful natural setting with nice access to Zephyr Cove beach, and is near to South Lake Tahoe attractions and a beautiful drive to Carson City. You are in the woods with other campers, and the weather is great! The drive to Carson City is beautiful if you need or want to go up there.
I wish they would be a bit more prompt about cleaning the camp restrooms (emptying the trash). Camp showers are good with temperatures and water pressure.
The amenities here are the beautiful trees, the stunning lake, and zephyr cove beach and marina where you can rent kayaks and more.
With recereation.gov, you can pick out your own site from the map.

The sanitary facilities , Restroom and Showers were in a bad condition.
It was very loud from the construction by the street.
The lake is nice, but everything is very expensive.
You can do all kind of watersports and hiking tours.

Not impressed. Pole with site numbers are missing. Tiny bear boxes, wich by the way was filled with coal and ashes. The camping site is for 6 people yet the bear box didnt even fit one of my ice chests. Bathrooms poorly maintained. One was clogged for over a day. Over half of bathrooms were out of toilet paper and paper towels. In one shower the lights didnt work. Plenty of parking but no one checking parking permits.
