No office staff on most days , so we were unable to buy ice.
On our departure date, we left our site at 8 am, then at noon we received an unkind voicemail to leave our site immediately. Rude. Otherwise the campground was nice.

Beautiful place to stay. Next time we will get a site further from the highway. Lots of traffic noise.

We stayed here for a week this year. This is our third visit. I love the new reservation system where you can pick your spot. Previously, you didn't know and you get a spot that is tough to get into. That was us last year. Even though it was a pull thru, the positioning of some trees made it a tough go. We walked the park again and noted the best spots. For this year, it was nice to have the office at the RV park open. You could talk to the person at the desk or even buy somethings, without having to cross the major highway. Every employee we talked to was very nice. Our spot was nice, but the location of the electric pedestal made it a little difficult for our pop-out. The worst thing about our stay, was the awful condition of the restrooms and showers. Some of the restrooms weren't serviced for over 2 Days. The trash was so high, that you needed a building permit. Even though I advised the office out the situation early afternoon, it wasn't taken care of. The same hair and debris was visible in the showers for multiple days. It seems they prioritize the cabins over the two restroom/shower buildings in RV park. That should change. Overall, we would return. The location is amazing. The bar and grill are awesome. Just be mindful that in the first week of June, the beach area is taken over by high school age kids both locally and from Reno/Carson City. This is a beautiful location, but it does need some connecting bike trails.
