It was a pretty nice campground. Clean bathrooms, available firewood, and its right next to a stream.

We had another great stay at Smokemont. The site was nearly level, and completely shaded. It was a great summertime getaway in the mountains of the GSMNP. The nearby stream cooled us off when the heat of the day set in.

Clean facility, nice folks running the campsite. Way too many campers driving fast thru campgrounds with children, kids, and adults using same roads.

My trip was good. Stayed in the F section. A lot of the rules as far as no tents in the F zone and people just staying in there cars shouldn’t be acceptable.

The camp host was not the most accommodating and because of this we left four days early and moved to another campground in Whittier.
