What Guests Are Saying
Hawthorn Bluff offers a peaceful camping experience with beautiful lake views, well-maintained trails, and clean facilities, making it a popular choice for families and groups. While some RV sites are not level and certain amenities like hot water and flushing toilets experienced issues, the friendly staff and clean environment contribute positively to visitors' experiences. Overall, guests appreciate the campground's serene atmosphere and accessibility to nearby attractions, despite occasional maintenance concerns.

Wish we could stay hooked up to water. Donβt mind the water in the tank for some things, but take a couple of jugs for making tea, coffee, iceβ¦.

The Gate attendants are excellent. they are very helpful and friendly. The campgrounds needs to be cleaned up prior to opening. The leaves should be burned off. The fire pit had trash and the grill was extremely dirty and full of ashes.

Good location, incredible view, very clean bathrooms, the showers are clean and have hot water, each space comes with a picnic table, campfire, grill and the water faucet with a hose makes it easy to have it nearby. I recommend it, it was good to go there and I would go again with the family

We love Hawthorn Bluff! The people at the gate are very friendly and helpful. We had to leave the lake early because I was hospitalized on the 6th of April. The ladies at the gate took care of everything for us. We were immediately refunded our money which I appreciated.

The gate was closed early and no one answered the phone. Went home disappointed.
