Hawthorn Bluff offers a peaceful camping experience with beautiful lake views, well-maintained trails, and clean facilities, making it a popular choice for families and groups. While some RV sites are not level and certain amenities like hot water and flushing toilets experienced issues, the friendly staff and clean environment contribute positively to visitors' experiences. The best view of the lake is at this spot. Very easy to back in any size trailer. Plenty of room to spread out your gear.

We love this campground. We go every year in April and May to do some crappie fishing. Very friendly people and well cared for campground.

Overall good place to camp. Husband loved the fishing dock. The bathrooms were clean and taken care of. Host was very friendly and welcomed us. My only complaint is the shared water. Really could use more spigots and could be marked better on the map used for reservations. Cell service was great so that was a plus too.

We always enjoy our time at Hawthorn bluff in Oolagah! It's such a nice campground with beautiful camp sites! I do hate the water situation as we sometimes bring our very large family, 6 out of 9 grandkids, and it seems we have to drag our hose out and fill our tanks back up usually twice!

Such a beautiful park. Lots of trees and very close to the lake. Clean showers and restrooms are always a plus.

Great staff of volunteers! Our goto camping spot!
Electrical issues are chronic and continue to experience “over-voltage”, shut downs on our electrical surge protector. 146 bolts on this trip; we’ve experienced +158 volts at other site numbers. The staff was kind enough to allow us to move to a site that had no issues! Thank you!!
AND A BIG THANK YOU and WELL WISHES to retiring “Bill”! You were always so helpful to all of us campers!!
Robert & Cherie!!
