What Guests Are Saying
Hawthorn Bluff offers a peaceful camping experience with beautiful lake views, well-maintained trails, and clean facilities, making it a popular choice for families and groups. While some RV sites are not level and certain amenities like hot water and flushing toilets experienced issues, the friendly staff and clean environment contribute positively to visitors' experiences. Overall, guests appreciate the campground's serene atmosphere and accessibility to nearby attractions, despite occasional maintenance concerns.

Absolutely loved our location. We stayed at 32 on the cove. Great trees for a hammock, watched a beaver swim and build, fish jumping, very peaceful and quiet. The is a hiking trail right by your camp site that will take you around the cove. Also had parking spots on one side of us which ended up handy for when friends came to visit.

Great campground, however, too many barking dogs!

It is a beautiful camp but was disapointed that there was no water at camp site.

We absolutely love Hawthorn Bluff. This was our second time to camp here. This time, then showers were not as clean as the last time, and one of the toilets seemed to be clogged every time we went to the bathroom, but for the most part it was a good trip. Just FYI...the gate gets closed after 10pm. You can get out, but not back in. We will still come back again and again.

The only issue is the light in bathroom by space 15 would be on during day and not work at night and was pitch black. Had to tak a flashlight every time

The campground was very clean. Our parking spot was not very level but had a very nice table. The lake was very nice and the fishing dock was great. I wish every campsite had it's own water source but it wasn't too bad filling up the tank on our trailer. Overall it was very nice. We did go and see Will Rogers birthplace and enjoyed that.

Very pleasant park. Lake is beautiful. Campsites were nicely spaced to give privacy. We would return if ever back in the area.

Park is nice & clean with good spots. Main drawback is that you have to go on the highway to access boat ramp or swim beach. For some reason they keep the gate closed that connects the campground to the water access.
